Hi there! I'm Emre — a full-stack developer based in London. I've spent the last few years building backends in ASP.NET Core and frontends in React and TypeScript, with occasional detours into data engineering and observability.

I've worked across startups and enterprise: an Airflow + Snowflake + dbt pipeline at a London analytics startup, building and modernizing Turkey's national public-investment information system, CUSS-compliant airline check-in kiosks, and modules of Turkey's e-municipality platform used by hundreds of municipalities.

Outside of work, I tinker with side projects: a Memcached-style key-value store in Go, a dynamic facet-search demo with a full DevOps wrap, and this site itself.

This blog is where I write about what I pick up along the way, covering software engineering, system design, networking, DevOps, and whatever else I fall into.
